WBJEE 2025 Counselling: Seat Allotment (Defence Quota Round 2 OUT), Dates (Revised), Cutoff (OUT), Admission Process

The WBJEE 2024 counselling for the second round of the Defence Quota took place on September 20, 2024. Candidates on the list were required to attend the offline counselling session at the WBJEE Board office located at Rupanna DB-118, Sector-I, Salt Lake City, Kolkata – 700064. Seat allotment was carried out based on the candidates' ranks, preferences, and seat availability.
All selected candidates had to confirm their admissions by the final deadline, or their allotment would be cancelled. The registration process for the WBJEE 2024 mop-up round counselling was open until August 7, 2024, when eligible candidates needed to register, pay the fee, and select their preferred colleges and courses. WBJEE counselling also included JEE Main qualified candidates. The seat allotment results for Rounds 1 and 2 were declared on July 23 and July 31, 2024, respectively.
WBJEE 2025 Counselling
The due date will be declared after the authorities declare the WBJEE counselling date on the Wbjee Official Website. The counselling of WBJEE 2025, conducted by the WBJEEB, will be organised online. The WBJEE 2025 counselling will be opened online, and the candidates who qualify for WBJEE 2025 and are eligible to appear or those with a valid JEE Main score can enrol. The candidates have to enrol in the WBJEE 2025 counselling, which means registration, choice filling, locking, seat allotment, payment of fees, and document verification. There will be two rounds of counselling. If allotted seats, candidates must present their original certificates and pay the admission fee at the designated reporting centres within the time slots. They have to carry the seat allotment letter and other documents with them.
Before receipt of the WBJEE counselling, candidates have to:
Registration, supply of email, and cell phone number on the website. Faculty Post-registration, you are to deposit only a counselling fee of Rs. 500.
Fill in the preferred choices of colleges and courses in the desired order of preference.
The seat allotment will be in rounds until the last round, depending on the rank, preference, and possibility of choice. The seat allotment will be published on the website.
Counselling and document verification means checking seat allotment at a specified reporting centre. Candidates with the allotment of seats must report at the given seat acceptance centre within the stipulated time. Carry all required documents, the seat allotment letter, and the original certificate with a photo and photocopy.

WBJEE Participating Institutes 2025
WBJEEB will disclose the register of participating institutes on the authorised Wbjee Official Website. The register covers 116 WBJEE participating colleges. As part of the counselling process, scholars can analyse the WBJEE participating institutes for 2025 and designate their preferences. Various categories of WBJEE 2025 participating institutes, namely, self-financing private universities, private colleges, minority institutes, government colleges, and university/department establishments.
