The WBJEE 2025 admit card download link will be available today, April 17, 2025, at the WBJEE official website. To download the admit card, registered candidates need to log in using their application number and password.

 

Candidates must carry the printed admit card and one valid photo ID when reporting to their allotted WBJEE 2025 exam centre. The entrance exam will be held on April 27, 2025, in offline (pen-and-paper) mode at various centres across the state.

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) is a state-level entrance test organised by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB). This exam is a pathway for students aspiring to gain admission into B.Tech and B.Pharm programs at various universities, government colleges, and private engineering and technical institutes within West Bengal. To be eligible for admission, candidates must clear the WBJEE. Marking Scheme

Category I - Each correct answer will be awarded one mark. An incorrect response will yield a loss of ¼ mark. For any combination of responses with more than one option, the said answer will be treated as incorrect and will yield -1/4 (25% negative) marks.

Category II - Only one option is correct; the correct response yields two marks. An incorrect response will yield -1/2 (25% negative) marks. For any combination of responses with more than one option, the said answer will be treated as incorrect and will yield a -1/2 (25% negative) mark.

Category III - One or more options may be correct. Only correct responses will yield 2(two) marks. There is no negative marking.

WBJEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria

 

  • Applicants must carefully read the eligibility criteria for WBJEE 2025 before completing the application form. 

  • The eligibility criteria are published online with the official notification. The eligibility criteria for WBJEE 2025 are citizenship, age, and qualification. 

  • The citizenship requirement is that the candidate must be an Indian citizen. 

  • Applicants must be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2025, while there is no maximum age limit, except for the Marine Engineering Degree Course. 

  • The age limit for the Marine Engineering degree course is 25 years as of December 31, 2025. The qualification criteria involve passing Class 12 from a recognised board.

  •  Aspirants should complete class 12, which includes several subjects, such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, computer science, biotechnology, and computer application. 

  • For BTech, at least 45% in 10+2 marks are required for the general category, whereas 40% ( general category ) for SC/ST/OBC/PwD. For BArch, the candidate must have an aggregate of 50% marks in the 12th class.

  • The BArch candidate must also clear the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) organised by the Council of Architecture (COA).
