Parul University (PU) Scholarship 2025 Highlights

Some of the scholarships offered by Parul University provide good support to students to enhance student abilities in their academic endeavours. Below are the details of the scholarships available, along with the required documents: 

Cultural Scholarship

This scholarship is for candidates who have performed in co-curriculum activities up to year 12. The scholarship is available to students who have achieved positions at District, State Zonal, and National/International levels. Here's the breakdown:

Documents Required: 

• Certificate of Recognition from the Mentoring Institute, Academy, Private Tutor, Gurus, and Recommendation Letter.

• Certificates/ Awards received by students, Memo/Report related to the student's participation in different activities/programmes.

• At least two references of individuals associated with the applicant in the same co-curricular activity must be in the queue.

Sports Scholarship

This scholarship is for sports talent students in skill and achievement at various levels. As with the Cultural Scholarship, it is awarded on achievements at the District, State, Zonal, and National/International stages.

Documents Required: 

• Recommendation Letter and 1-minute WhatsApp Videos from the Mentoring Institute, the Academy, the Private Tutor or Gurus.

• Certification records that prove participation or achievements, such as awards and certificates received by students or other activities participated in by students.

• Minimum two reference characters of people known to the applicant in the same co-curricular activities.

Defence Scholarship

Scholarships are available for the Officers/Soldiers in the Defence Forces and their dependents for admission to Parul University. There are different categories based on the classification:

Terms & Conditions for Scholarships

• The accreditation of information, as well as the certificates and other documents, is mandatory.

• Like in the case of QC, SCM and SHS, a candidate can only apply for one scholarship scheme if qualified for others.

• These scholarships are awarded during admission to enable learners to fund their tuition fees.

• The scholarship is offered on course fees, which refer to fees set for a term/semester.

• These scholarships seek to provide equal opportunity for all students at Parul University who need quality education but need more funds to make it through.

Scholarship For SC candidates

Income Limit: For male candidates, the income limit has been set at Rs 250000/- per year and for female candidates, there is no income limit.

Scholarship Amount: Girls with an income above Rs 2,50,000 do not get help with tuition fees but can still get a maintenance allowance. For degree courses, boys and girls receive Rs 5,500 per year, and for diploma courses, they receive Rs 2,300 per year. If they live in the institute's hostel, they get more money—Rs 12,000 per year for degree courses and Rs 6,000 per year for diploma courses.

Scholarship For ST candidates

Income Limit: For male candidates, the income limit has been set at Rs 250000/- per year and for female candidates there is no income limit.

Scholarship Amount: Students in degree courses get Rs 5,500 per year as a maintenance allowance, and those in diploma courses get Rs 2,300 per year. If they stay in the hostel, they get more—Rs 12,000 per year for degree courses and Rs 6,000 per year for diploma courses, plus Rs 10,000 per year for food. But girls with incomes over Rs 2,50,000 per year do not get the food allowance.

Scholarship For NTDNT candidates

Parul University gives scholarships to ST (NTDNT) students to help them continue their studies after high school, including post-secondary and postgraduate levels, at recognized schools in the state. To qualify, the student's family income must be under Rs 2,00,000 per year. The scholarship covers tuition fees, maintenance allowance, and exam fees, up to Rs 50,000.

Scheme of Mukhya Mantri Swavlamban Yojna

Parul University offers scholarships to deserving and needy students who have passed Class 12th in science or general stream, or Class 10th from approved schools in Gujarat. Students must apply online for a scholarship. The income limit for eligibility is Rs 4,50,000 per year. The scholarship covers up to 50% of tuition fees, and financial help is also given for boarding, lodging, equipment, and books as per government rules.

Special Scholarship Scheme for J&K Students

The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, gives a special scholarship to students from Jammu & Kashmir after they pass Class 11th or an equivalent exam. The income limit for eligibility is Rs 6,00,000 per year. Starting from the 2015-16 academic year, all eligible students must apply online through AICTE’s website.

Scholarship/Eligibility Based on GATE (for M.Tech. Programme)

Students receive a 50% discount on their tuition fees for the two years of their M.Tech Programme. Apart from this students are also entitled to a monthly payment of Rs 12,000 from AICTE.
