Over the past three years, Parul University has garnered over 38 awards and rankings, with documentary evidence dating back to 2013 in Chronicle Magazine and 2014 in Business Standard.

India Today Rankings

India Today, one of the leading educational ranking institutions, has featured Parul University and assessed its results. In terms of the overall ranking, in 2024, PU has attained the rank of 30th out of 73 colleges in India, which is a good rating. 

NIRF Rankings

In 2023, Parul University ranked 151 to 200 out of 200 colleges in India to enhance its position in the academic sector. Further, Pharmacy at PU emerged as the improved stream, the college was ranked 53rd in the Pharmacy stream in 2023 out of 125 colleges after being ranked only 86 in the Pharmacy stream in 2022.

Outlook Rankings

Outlook, the other reputable magazine, has also benchmarked Parul University's accomplishments through this ranking system. Regarding the rankings of the colleges, PU stands consistent, and in 2024, it has been ranked 39th among 109 colleges in India. In addition, Architecture was also well-ranked at PU, placing the college at 17th out of 30 in 2022 and 2023.

 IIRF Ranking

The IIRF helps to assess the universities in India across different streams and thus makes it easier to understand their ranking. In 2023, PU ranked 80th among 171 colleges in India, getting a boost compared to 2022, where PU stood at 114th among 161 colleges. More specifically, as for dental studies, PU scored 41st out of 60 in the college rank 2023.

The Times Of India Rankings

Parul University has been acknowledged by many newspapers, including The Times Of India, for its academic performance year after year. In 2021, the PU stood at 62nd rank out of 101 colleges in India, which is an addition to its growth. Furthermore, in the case of B. Tech, PU ranked 99th among 147 colleges in 2019. 

 National Institutional Ranking Framework Innovation

Innovation has a strategic role in defining the future of education and development, NIRF well recognises innovation at Parul University. In 2023, the PU ranked 11th among 312 colleges in India, proving that the place is perfect for innovation and excellence. Conclusively, the rankings and ratings given to Parul University imply its focus on quality education and improved performance. 

Times B-School Ranking

Parul Institute of Business Administration secured a spot among the top 75 BBA colleges in India, ranking for the second consecutive time in the Times B-School survey. This research aimed to identify the top institutions offering full-time BBA programs across the country.

Times Engineering Survey

In 2019, the Times Engineering Institute Survey ranked the Parul Institute of Engineering & Technology among the top 100 engineering colleges in India. This recognition places the institute at the forefront of engineering education in the nation.

Chronicle Magazine

The Civil Services Chronicle ranked Parul University as the second-best engineering college in Gujarat, with a B++ ranking in 2015. Furthermore, the university was placed among the top 10 engineering institutes in India for infrastructure by the Chronicle in 2013, emphasizing the university’s excellent facilities.

Business Standard – B1 Institutes in India

In 2014, Business Standard ranked Parul University among the B1 institutes in India. This distinction underscores the university’s high standards in delivering quality education.

Digital Learning Through ICT

Parul University was recognized as one of the "Most Promising Institutes of India" by Digital Learning Through ICT. This honour highlights the university's commitment to incorporating technology into education.

Intellectual Property India Ranking

In the 2012-13 annual report published by Intellectual Property India, Parul University ranked 7th across the country, making it the only institution from Gujarat to achieve this distinction. It surpassed all 31 NITs combined in terms of intellectual property achievements, showcasing its innovation and contribution to patents, trademarks, and geographical indications.

Dataquest Survey 2015

The Dataquest 2015 Survey ranked Parul University 4th in Gujarat and among the top 100 engineering colleges in India. This survey recognized the university’s excellence in engineering education.

Silicon India Survey 2015

In 2015, Silicon India ranked Parul University 2nd in Gujarat and among the top 50 engineering colleges in India. The survey also recognized the university’s MCA program, placing it among the top 50 engineering and MCA colleges in the country.

Innovation Rankings and NIRF

Parul University has made significant strides in innovation. It earned a full-star rating in Quarter 1 of the Government of India’s Innovation Ranking by the Institution’s Innovation Council (a Ministry of HRD initiative). Additionally, the university is ranked among the top 50 universities in India by NIRF for its achievements in innovation and its supportive ecosystem for creativity.

NIRF Pharmacy Ranking

The university’s Institute of Pharmacy ranked 53rd across India in the NIRF rankings, reflecting its dedication to providing high-quality education in pharmaceutical sciences.

Outcome-Based Education (OBE) Ranking

In the 2023 R. World Institutional Ranking, Parul University achieved a platinum band with an A++ grade in Outcome-Based Education (OBE), recognizing its efforts to provide top-tier education aligned to producing tangible outcomes for students.

GSIRF Rankings 2021

Parul University achieved a 3/5 star ranking, marking it as one of the top universities in Gujarat according to the GSIRF 2021 Rankings. Additionally, the Management College of Parul University earned a 4/5 star rating, securing its position among the top five management colleges in the state. Similarly, the Architecture College of Parul University also achieved a 4/5 star rating, further solidifying its standing among the top architecture colleges in Gujarat.
