Deepa Malik
Profession: Indian Athlete
Deepa Malik is a distinguished Indian athlete who began her sporting journey at the age of 30. She holds the honour of being the first Indian woman to secure a medal in the Paralympic Games. Malik has achieved the extraordinary feat of winning medals in three consecutive Asian Para Games in 2010, 2014, and 2018. At the 2016 Summer Paralympics, she won a silver medal in shot put. Malik continues to dominate her sport, ranking first globally in the F-53 category. She also clinched gold in the F-53/54 Javelin event during the 2018 Para Athletics Grand Prix in Dubai.
Among her many accolades, Malik received the prestigious Arjuna Award in 2012 and was honoured with the Padma Shri in 2017. In 2020, she took on a new role as the President of the Paralympic Committee of India.
Anand Kumar
Profession: Educationist and Mathematician
Anand Kumar is an esteemed mathematician and educationist, best known for establishing the highly-regarded "Super 30" program in 2002. This initiative, based in Patna, Bihar, aims to provide coaching to underprivileged students for the IIT-JEE Advanced exam. By 2018, an impressive 422 out of 510 students from the program had successfully gained admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). His efforts even attracted the attention of the Discovery Channel, which featured "Super 30" in a documentary.
Kumar's work has been widely recognized, with praise from international figures such as former U.S. President Barack Obama’s envoy, Rashad Hussain. Among his numerous honours, Kumar received the Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad Shiksha Puraskar and the Prof. Yashwantrao Kelkar Yuva Puraskar in 2010.
Anil Kumble
Profession: Former Indian Cricket Captain
Anil Kumble is a legendary figure in Indian cricket, having served as both the national team's captain and coach during his illustrious career. Kumble played test and one-day international cricket over 18 years, during which he became one of the most successful leg-spin bowlers in the history of test cricket. His 619 test wickets place him among the highest wicket-takers of all time, ranking fourth globally as of 2022.
In recognition of his contributions to cricket, Kumble was awarded the Padma Shri, India's fourth-highest civilian honour, in 2005. He also became the chairman of the International Cricket Council's (ICC) Cricket Committee in 2012.
Manushi Chhillar
Profession: Indian Film Actor, Model, Miss World 2017
Manushi Chhillar, an accomplished model and actress, rose to fame by winning the Miss World 2017 title, becoming the sixth Indian to earn this prestigious crown. Representing her home state of Haryana, she also secured the Femina Miss India 2017 title. Chhillar’s upcoming Bollywood debut is in the film Prithviraj, directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi.

Established in 2015, the Parul University Alumni Association acts as a bridge between the university and its alumni. The Alumni Association has established several regional chapters across India, including in Vadodara, Rajkot, Ahmedabad, and Surat.
