Parul University, located in Vadodara, Gujarat, is a well-established institution known for its quality education and extensive accreditations. Founded under the Gujarat Private Universities (Second Amendment) Act, the university holds an A++ Grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It is affiliated with several national regulatory bodies such as the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals (NABH), the Bar Council of India, the National Medical Commission, and the Central Council for Homeopathy. The university’s roots trace back to 1993 when the Ahmedabad Homeopathic College was established. Over time, it expanded rapidly, with campuses in Ahmedabad, Rajkot, and finally Vadodara, where the main campus was set up in 2003. Parul University has consistently prioritized community welfare, evident in the establishment of Parul Sevashram Hospital (PSH) in 2009, a teaching hospital that offers affordable healthcare to people from all over India. In 2023, the Ministry of Education’s National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranked Parul University among the top 50 universities in India for innovation. Governance & Leadership

Since its founding in 1989, the Parul Arogya Seva Mandal Trust (PASM) has served as the foundation of Parul University.  Established to provide education, social welfare, and healthcare, the trust has consistently worked towards making a positive impact in these areas. Over the years, it has focused on improving education and introducing meaningful initiatives that have benefitted students at various levels. In 2022, PASM further expanded its reach by taking over the management of two well-known schools in Vadodara, Anand Vidya Vihar and New Era Senior Secondary School, adding primary and secondary education to its mission.

Dr. Jayesh Patel, the founding Managing Trustee, was a respected leader known for his dedication to education and social causes. His vision helped shape both the trust and Parul University, making a significant difference in the way education was delivered. Under his leadership, the trust worked tirelessly to offer more opportunities for learning and growth, ensuring that education reached a broader section of society.

Currently, the leadership of PASM and Parul University is in the capable hands of Dr. Devanshu Patel, who serves as the Managing Trustee and President of the university. Along with him, Dr. Parul Patel serves as Vice President for Student Affairs and General Administration and heads the Admissions Committee. Dr. Komal Patel takes charge of the Medical and Paramedical Health Sciences as Vice President and Medical Director, while Dr. Geetika Patel oversees Quality, Research, and Health Sciences, also serving as Medical Director.
