Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) started in 1953. It is a well-known university known for its good education. It has top accreditations like AIRIIA and NAAC, making it an A+++-ranked institution. In the 2023 NIRF rankings, MAHE was placed 6th among Indian universities with a score of 80.86. The Manipal Academy of Higher Education, set up in 1953 by TMA Pai, is an Institution of Excellence declared by the Ministry of Education Government of India. As per NIRF 2023, Manipal University Bangalore is ranked sixth officially in the universities category. The declared university offers UG, PG, PhD and other programs to students in the faculties of medical and health sciences, engineering and technology, humanities, management, applied sciences, commerce and arts etc, through several affiliated colleges and departments. UGC and NAAC approve MAHE Manipal and has membership in AIU and ISO 9001:2008 certification.
Besides the contiguously located main campus, the MAHE has an off-shore campus in Dubai (UAE) and off-campus centres in Jamshedpur, Bengaluru and Mangaluru. They offer dental and medical educational programs at the Mangaluru campus. Doctor of Philosophy Programs offered in Regenerative Medicine, Engineering, Art & Design, Humanities, Liberal Arts, Social Sciences, Law & Management, and Regenerative Medicine are available at the Bengaluru campus. For instance, the Dubai campus offers engineering, management, architecture, information sciences, media communication, etc.
