Maharishi Markandeshwar Deemed University also known as MMU (DU) situated in Haryana provides the admission facility for diplomas, and degrees at the UG level, PG and PhD levels. It was established in the year 1993 and has jurisdiction over three of its campuses, two of which are in Ambala and Karnal respectively with another in Solan. At MMU (DU) Haryana, courses are offered in the fields of engineering, humanities & social sciences, medicine & surgery, management, and nursing and paramedical sciences, medicine including pharmacy & science & law.
Admission can be done online or by posting the documents after remitting a fee of one thousand rupees to the university. Consequently, the admission requirements for MMU (DU) include entrance as well as merit basis. For example, entry requirements to the BTech programmes are based on the JEE Main marks while entry requirements to the degree in medicine and surgery MBBS requires the candidate to have passed NEET qualification. Every year, Maharishi Markandeshwar University (MMU) Mullana opens the door for a large number of students to admit them to different undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. For the 2025-2026 academic session, the admission process is outlined as follows:
Application: First, go to the MMU official website and use the link on the home page to apply through the admission link.
Selection: The way of choosing is different depending on the course being taken. For, BTech, MBBS, and MTech, the students need to have pass marks in entrance tests JEE Main, NEET, and Gate equivalent respectively. Besides, the students may have to face Personal Interviews and/or Group Discussions. In many cases, such as getting admission to BCom or BBA, the candidate does not have to pass the exam for CLASS 12.
Counselling: The candidates who have passed the qualifying examination and feature on the merit list will be called for counselling organised by MMU.
Fee Payment: In order to effect admission to the preferred course, the candidates will be necessitated to pay the fees during counselling.

The passport-size photograph has to be submitted.
