Eligibility & Selection Criteria
B.A. LL.B. (Hons.)
- Eligibility: Minimum 50% marks in 10+2 examination from any stream.
- Selection Criteria: Admission is based on the merit secured in the JMI BA LLB entrance examination followed by an interview.

Application Process 2025
Candidates wishing to apply to the Faculty of Law must complete the online application process through the JMI Website. The application procedure includes the following steps:
- Visit the JMI Website.
- Click on the link for admissions for the desired program.
- Register as a new user and confirm your registration.
- You will receive an email containing an activation code.
- Enter the activation code to log in with your username and password.
- Fill in the application form carefully.
- Pay the application fee through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking.
Application Fees
- UG and PG courses: ₹700
- Ph.D. candidates: ₹1,500
Required Documents
Candidates must submit the following documents during the application process:
- Marksheet and proof of passing the qualifying examination.
- Proof of age.
- Caste certificate (if applicable).
- A medical certificate certifying blood group.
- Address proof with the name of the nearest police station and district.
Note: Students awaiting final results may be provisionally admitted based on prior documentation, but must submit final results by September 15.
