The Faculty of Law, Jamia Malia Islamia is located in Delhi and was established in 1989. The Faculty of Law provides B A LLB, LLM and PG diploma courses to the students. Candidates need to pass the class 12th examination to get admission to the BA LLB program. If a candidate needs to secure admission to LLM and PG diploma courses then they have to go through an entrance examination followed by a personal interview. The application mode is online and the entrance examination mode is offline.

Department of Legal Studies and Research Jamia Millia Islamia University, a University Grant Commission-sponsored faculty situated in South Delhi came into existence in 1989. The college was established to meet the growing need for qualified legal professionals and this was recently expanded to meet the nature of legal education.
Efforts and commitment are key ingredients required in the everyday running of any department, and through commitment and excellence, the Faculty of Law has managed to improve the courses and syllabi offered in the Faculty, offer new programs, and employ effective teaching pedagogy in the classroom.
