TS LAWCET 2025 Application Process

 

The Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET) is an important test for prospective law students in Telangana, that is conducted by Osmania University on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), who offers admissions into 3-year and 5-year LLB programs from studying at different law colleges in Telangana. For the academic year 2025, the application process for TS LAWCET opened on March 1, 2025 and closed on May 25, 2025, with multiple late fee deadlines. 

 

The test was conducted on June 6, 2025. Candidates who registered for the test and appeared for the examination will be able to download hall tickets and verify exam details, as they will become available on the appropriate website.

TS LAWCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

 

General Eligibility:

 

  • Nationality: Must be a citizen of India.
  • Local/Non-Local Status: Candidates should satisfy the local or non-local status requirements as per Telangana state regulations.

 

For 3-Year LLB Program:

 

  • Educational Qualification: Must have passed any graduate degree (10+2+3 pattern) from a recognized university or equivalent.
  • Minimum Marks: General category: 45%; OBC: 42%; SC/ST: 40%.
  • Appearing Candidates: Final-year degree students are eligible to apply.

 

For 5-Year LLB Program:

 

  • Educational Qualification: Must have passed the 10+2 examination or equivalent from a recognized board.
  • Minimum Marks: General category: 45%; OBC: 42%; SC/ST: 40%.
  • Appearing Candidates: Candidates appearing in the final year of their qualifying examination are eligible.
     

Note: There is no upper age limit for appearing in the TS LAWCET 2025.

TS LAWCET 2025 Application Process

 

Step-by-Step Guide:

 

Step 1: Go to the official website: lawcet.tsche.ac.in.

 

Step 2: Payment of application fee: Click on the "Application Fee Payment" link, enter the required information and make application fee payment.

 

Step 3: Filling the application form: Following successful application fee payment, click on "Proceed to Fill Application". Fill all the required personal, educational and communication details.

 

Step 4: Uploading, Upload scanned copies of your photo & signature (in the format and size specified).

 

Step 5: Preview and Submit: After completing the form, review all the information provided, make corrections if necessary and submit the application form.

 

Application Fee:

  • For OC and BC Candidates: ₹900
  • For SC/ST and PH Candidates: ₹600

 

Payment Methods: Online payment can be made through TS Online, Debit Card, or Credit Card.

TS LAWCET 2025 Application Correction Window

 

The application correction window for TS LAWCET 2025 was open from May 20 to May 25, 2025. During this period, candidates could make corrections to their submitted application forms.

 

Important Notes:

 

  • Mode of Correction: Only online corrections were permitted.
  • Fields Allowed for Correction: Candidates could edit details such as qualifying examination, medium of test, gender, birth state, local area status, email ID, Aadhaar card details, and study details.
  • Restrictions: Changes to caste/community/state/category were not allowed after the correction window.

TS LAWCET 2025 Seat Intake

 

The TS LAWCET 2025 Exam offers admission into several Law Colleges in the state of Telangana. It is difficult to confirm what number of seats may be available each year, however candidates can refer to the official website or contact the Law Colleges directly to find detailed information on their own seating capacity and intake into their 3-year and 5-year LLB programs.
