Tripura NEET Exam 2025: Counselling, Merit List, Dates, Seat Allotment, Criteria

The Tripura NEET 2025 counselling process helped students get into MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, and BASLP courses for the academic year 2024-25. This process was designed to smoothly assign seats in the state's medical and dental colleges. To participate, candidates had to pass NEET 2025 and meet Tripura's residency requirements. The process had several rounds of seat allocation, giving candidates multiple chances to get into top colleges like AGMC & GBP Hospital in Agartala. The final round of counselling, called the mop-up round, took place in person from September 11 to 15 at the KLS Auditorium, AGMC & GBP Hospital, Agartala.

The candidate must have cleared the NEET exam and be a permanent state resident to be eligible. The candidate or their parents must have been residing in Tripura for at least the last ten years as of the last date of submission of the application form. The candidates who have passed the 12th grade from an institution in Tripura and one of their parents is an employee of either the Tripura or Central Government are also eligible to apply.

Some of the best colleges that accept admission through Tripura NEET are Agartala Government Medical College, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Tripura Medical College and Dr B R A M Teaching Hospital.

The Tripura NEET 2025 merit list was released on July 18, showing 4,701 candidates, with 2,333 qualifying. The first round of counselling happened from July 28 to August 8, with results announced on August 4. There were 210 MBBS, 45 BDS, and one BASLP seat available, with 85% of the seats reserved for state quota. The provisional merit list for the second round included 330 candidates, with choice filling from August 22 to 24 and registration from August 16 to 18. The mop-up round offered additional seats, and the schedule was announced soon after.
