Administered by ETS, TOEFL has become one of the most popular English as a foreign language tests for learners who want to go to foreign countries for their studies. The TOEFL exam pattern 2025 includes four sections: IQ with sub-scales of Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing and a Total composite score. This exam is meant to assess the test takers’ comprehension, listening, writing, and speaking skills relevant to a university environment. Applications to English-speaking universities include the TOEFL exam for students who want to join institutions in English-speaking nations.
The TOEFL exam pattern for 2025 includes four sections: English with various sub-tests and a total score, the sub-tests include Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing. The usage of TOEFL sample papers is highly encouraged since it is generally found that higher usage directly results in better performances. The pattern is set by ETS, the TOEFL exam conducting body; all the preparation resources follow this pattern only.
The TOEFL scores are online seven days after the test. The total score is the accumulation of all the scores derived from the four components. While registering for TOEFL, the candidate can enter up to 4 institutions to dispatch their scores. On completion, the result is put out, and ETS forwards the official score reports to the admission of the mentioned institutions.
