SNAP 2025 Counselling and Selection Process

The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) 2025 will be conducted on multiple dates in December 2025 by Symbiosis International University (SIU). The official notification for SNAP 2025 is expected to be released in July 2025, following which the registration process and the deadline for submitting applications will be announced. SNAP is a computer-based entrance exam for MBA admissions to 16 SNAP-affiliated institutes and other leading business schools in India. The exam is 60 minutes long and consists of 60 questions, divided into three sections: General English, Analytical & Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency.

SNAP Admission Process 2025

The shortlisting process for MBA batch 2025 through SNAP 2024 consists of three rounds; Group Exercise, Personal Interaction, and Writing Ability Test. Candidates who clear the SNAP exam and match the cut-off percentage laid down by the institutes will only be eligible to attend the rounds of GE, PI, and WAT. Such candidates have to apply online on the respective institutions’ website which the candidate has to select during the SNAP registration. Once the candidates are shortlisted, the institutions will send an email to these candidates regarding the schedule and the venue for the rounds of GE, PI, and WAT.

• Participation in GE-PI and WAT is mandatory to be considered for admission to any of SIU’s MBA programs. If candidates fail to participate in these rounds of selection, then such candidates cannot be considered for further selection process thus making them ineligible for the snap admission process. 

• Group Exercise is where the candidates are divided into 8-10 groups where the candidates are asked to solve a case study on given topics like Marketing, Human resources, finance, and operations. Each group was given 20 minutes to present the same. 

• Personal Interaction entails one-on-one interaction with the panel containing academicians, teachers, and industry experts. The questions range from Why MBA to personal interests, and aspirations. 

• The no of PI will vary based on the no of the candidate in the GE shortlist. The Writing Ability Test is a 5-10 minute short passage on which candidates were asked to write. The word count varies from 100-200 words.

SNAP 2025 Selection Criteria

The final merit list for SNAP selection is prepared based on the marks scored by the candidate in each round. For every round, the candidates shall be given marks, and the total composite score shall be calculated. Based on the same, the candidates shall be given admission.
