OUAT 2025 Exam Pattern
The exam pattern of OUAT for 2025 has been released through the official notification, which will be out on March 1, 2025. Candidates aspiring to ace the OUAT 2025 exam must know about the OUAT 2025 Exam Pattern, Marking Scheme, and other essential details. The official notification states that there will be no changes in the exam pattern.
However, it is necessary to mention that the exam mode changed from offline to online in 2021. According to the Exam pattern of OUAT UG, there will be three sections: physics, chemistry, and mathematics/biology, and each section contains 66 questions, i.e., a total of 200 questions. In addition to the above, the OUAT entrance exam syllabus was also changed, which saw the removal of the Mental Aptitude section and the change of the sectional weights.
OUAT Exam Pattern 2025 for UG Courses
The OUAT entrance exam 2025 for undergraduate (UG) programs examination format is in the table. Candidates are given 2 hours to complete the examination, during which they can score 200 marks.

Physics and Chemistry shall be compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects: Biology/Mathematics. You select this during Form-A submission. Staff may be selected in one or more of the optional subjects for the online examination to be conducted in CBT mode based on the optional subject chosen by the candidates — PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY AND MATHEMATICS (PCM) or PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY AND BIOLOGY (PCB).

OUAT Exam Pattern for PG & PhD Courses
The entrance exam lasts two hours, and the total marks achievable are capped at 100. The exam comprises 40 marks allocated to objective-type questions and 60 marks designated for short-answer-type questions.
