NID DAT 2025 examination result will declared in April 2025 for M. Des admission. The subsequent rounds for seat allotment start in June 2025, for M. Des counselling the provisional offer letter will provided from 31st May 2025. Candidates can access their results using their email ID and date of birth, with the option for result rechecking available until May 2, 2025. For B.Des DAT Mains 2025, results are expected on May 21, 2025, following the exam conducted on April 28, 2025. The NID DAT 2025 Prelims exam will conducted in an OMR-based mode on December 24, 2025.

What is the NID Entrance Exam?
The National Institute of Design conducts the Design Aptitude Test commonly referred to as DAT, this is an examination sat across the country to choose students to be admitted to Bachelor of Design (BDes) and Master of Design (MDes) programs in the Institute of design of their choice. The B. Des program, currently offering 425 seats, is available at five campuses: NID Ahmedabad, NID Andhra Pradesh, NID Haryana, NID Madhya Pradesh, NID Assam etc.
Similarly, the M. Des program, with 347 seats, is offered at three campuses. Namely, NID Ahmedabad, NID Gandhinagar, and NID Bengaluru. The DAT consists of two stages: Prelims and Mains are two stages of the admission procedure; The scores of both stages are summed up and qualified applicants are ranked by this score to create the final admission list.
NID Eligibility Criteria 2025
Applicants must confirm their admissibility for NID DAT 2025 depending on the categorical academic program of their preference the B. Des or the M. Des program. One must realize that if a candidate doesn’t meet the requirements or her status is altered, the candidate can be disqualified at any time during the admission process.
Program-wise NID DAT 2025 eligibility criteria:
