NEET SS 2025 Result

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) Declared the results for NEET SS 2025 on October 15. The scorecards of NEET SS 2023 were available for download for candidates using their login ID and password on NBE from October 26. The NBE has uploaded the results with cutoff scores and a separate merit list for each of the 13 groups published in the percentile format on its website.

After the process of NEET SS counselling, there was a Special round of counselling for the candidates who completed their PG medical course and appeared for NEET SS 2023, conducted on September 29 and September 23, 2023. This additional counselling round will have eligible candidates participating in the counselling.

Those candidates who cleared the minimum cutoff score for NEET SS 2023 were considered qualified for the exam. The minimum qualifying percentile was originally 50 percentile, but later, based on NMC recommendations, it was reduced to 20 percentile. NBEMS has released the NEET SS 2023 cutoff after revising it. Rank lists were created for each type according to the candidates' marks. The NEET SS 2023 exam was held on September 29 and September 30.

NEET SS 2025 Tie-Breaking Criteria

In the NEET SS result, in cases of tied scores, the NBE, implementing a certain protocol, assigns the ranking. Here's the procedure:

  • Those students who have answered the least no of the wrong questions in the test will set the higher rank.

  • If the score of negative responses is identical, the candidate with the highest aggregate mark in Part B of the question paper will be ranked higher.

  • In case of the same score as Part B, the candidate with fewer incorrect responses in Part B shall be placed at a higher rank.

  • If everything else above is the same, the older one will come before the younger one.

  • Following a recommendation by the NMC, the NBEMS has re-reviewed the NEET SS 2023 cutoff. As per the instructions from the Ministry of Health, Government of India, the previous cut-off percentile of 50th is now revised and lowered to the 20th percentile for all the 13 groups of specialisations.
