Choosing the right books is crucial for NEET preparation. The books students use can significantly impact their chances of success. NEET preparation books fall into three main categories: NCERT books, reference books, and question banks. These are considered essential study materials for NEET 2025. Candidates should prioritize NCERT books before moving on to reference books. Beginners must first master NCERT books before exploring additional study materials.

Since the NEET syllabus covers three subjects—Physics, Chemistry, and Biology—the recommended books are categorized accordingly. The syllabus includes topics from both Class 11 and Class 12, making NCERT books and state board textbooks valuable resources. However, relying only on school books or reference materials is not enough. Many NEET toppers have emphasized the importance of NCERT books, stating that they primarily used them along with coaching institute materials. While additional reference books can provide extra practice, a strong foundation in NCERT remains essential.

This guide lists the best books for NEET 2025, recommended by experts and past toppers, to help students prepare effectively and improve their chances of success.
