On the other hand, the Aptitude Test, also named Section C, is separated into four subsections determining Divergent-Convergent Reasoning, Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability, and General Awareness. This part of the MICAT 2024 examination is consecrated to the applicants’ central aptitude. The applicants should use the syllabus and sample papers that are accessible to prepare for the exam. Moreover, it is feasible to increase this with the demonstration of MICAT mock tests on the certified website. This shall allow the person to become accustomed more thoroughly to the format and syllabus of the examination.

MICAT Syllabus 2024: Psychometric Test

The beginning segment of the MICAT question paper is the Psychometric Test, which serves as a means of personality assessment by testing the level of candidates’ problem-solving and thought processes. It serves as a gatekeeper by ensuring the completion of this section before the evaluation of a candidate’s performance in the subsequent sections is undertaken. Generally, the Psychometric Test in this test consists of three question sets. Under this section, candidates are given two sets of questions in the form of arguments in which the candidate is expected to analyze and rate the extent they can identify with their personality. Also, there is a set of responses in which the candidate is expected to rank on a scale of 1 to 6 in consideration of the scenarios that are presented.

MICAT Syllabus 2023-24: Descriptive Test

The question paper is not explicitly stated for this module in the MICAT due to the vast areas from which the question is sought. Conversely, the question paper usually contains three to four Given... questions. The questions are descriptive such as essay writing, story composition, and writing an argumentative passage on a given topic. A series of images are given to the claims, and they are asked to develop an argument based on the given pictures. Therefore, the applicants must acquire knowledge of current affairs to fare well in essay writing and create creative writing experience and expertise in story writing.
