16 November,2024:The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell will release the MAH MCA CET 2025 Registration number on its official website.

Maharashtra MCA Common Entrance Test (MAH MCA CET) 2025 is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra for admissions into MCA programs offered in various colleges and universities of Maharashtra. The exam is conducted in an online computer-based format. The exam consisted of 100 questions to be answered in 90 minutes.

 

To be eligible to appear in MAH MCA CET 2025, candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university/college with a minimum aggregate of 50% of marks. Candidates studying in the final year of their undergraduate can also appear in the exam provided they submit the provisional certificate during admissions. Candidates should also have Mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects in the 12th grade. 

 

Some of the prominent colleges accepting MAH MCA CET 2025 scores are Dr DY Patil Center for Management and Research, Dr DY Patil School of MCA, Savitribai Phule Pune University, MIT School of Management, Bharti Vidyapeeth’s Institue of Management and Information Technology. S.I.E.S Colege of Management Studies, DSM’s Institute of Information Technology and Management among others.

MAH MCA CET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

 

  • Indian citizens are eligible to apply.

  • With a BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) degree or B.Sc degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.

  • Persons holding a Bachelor’s degree in arts and sciences, B.Com, B.Sc., etc., provided that they have passed mathematics at the intermediate level or upper secondary level, as well as those whose degrees are in such categories and who satisfy the bridge course requirements laid down by universities, are considered suitable candidates.

  • The requirement that applicants must possess an aggregate minimum score of 50% in their Degree examination does not apply to those from backward classes, economically weaker sections, and other such special categories in Maharashtra State. Equally, those with disabilities shall be considered as capable of being admitted even if they for whatever reason did not achieve this mark up to 45%.

  • For the CET examination, candidates in their final year may also take part.
