Admission to MBA programs at IMK Kariavattom Campus and University Institutes of Management (UIM) in Kerala University is based only on a nationwide entrance interview. The earlier process of the university entrance examination has been scrapped and now admissions are offered on the basis of the interview and CAT, CMAT, or KMAT scores.
To be eligible to appear for KU CAT 2025, candidates should have completed their education in the format 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 from an Indian college/university/institution that is recognized by Kerala University. They should have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in their undergraduate degree. Those who have completed post-graduation should also have a minimum aggregate of 50%. The admission process imparts 80% weightage to Entrance Scores, 10% weightage to Group Discussions, and 10% weightage to Personal Interview.
The form is made available on the official website and the students who are willing to register have to fill in their application by visiting the official website. The last date for filling out the form is in 3rd week of May. Group Discussions and Personal Interviews were conducted in the last week of May 2025. The provisional rank list will be released in the 1st week of July 2025.

What is KU CAT 2025?
KU-CAT, The Kerala University Common Admission Test is an entrance examination conducted by Kerala University for admission to various postgraduate programs offered by the university as well as its various affiliated institutions. CENTAC offers admission to courses like MBA, MCA, MTech, MSc, LLM, etc to candidates under one common platform. KU CAT is a gateway for admission into programs of Kolkata University which covers areas in which candidates are assessed like quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, verbal ability, and general awareness. The scores scored by students in KU CAT are also taken into account while preparing the final merit list of admission, which contains other selection criteria apart from academic performance, group discussion, and personal interviews. KU CAT 2025 Eligibility
Before applying for the KU CAT 2025, check the eligibility criteria of KU CAT 2025 so that candidates can be eligible for their exam.
Must hold a degree from an Indian university, in regular mode at least for the passing course, recognized by Kerala University, after following either the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern.
The Tenure of the qualifying examination must be passed under the 10+2+3 pattern and the candidates who are in their last year/ semester, are also eligible. They should have a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination i.e., B.Com, BA, B.Sc. etc.
Candidates should have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in their 10+2/intermediate level or its equivalent for degrees under the 10+2+4 pattern including B.Tech, B.Arch, etc.
KU CAT Eligibility for PG Courses (M.Com, MA, M.Sc, etc.)Candidates applying for KU CAT must have done their post-graduation in the respective discipline from a recognized Indian university Securing at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination and eligible to apply for KU CAT.
