The Joint Admission Committee (JAC) Chandigarh counselling process has been released. The special round seat allotment result for JAC Chandigarh counselling was released on August 9 2025. The spot counselling round will start on August 11 and be completed by August 14. The counselling process is based on the JEE main course and class 12th examination marks. This counselling process has three rounds with one spot round. The choice-filling round for this counselling started on 4 July 2025. The second round for choice summation and locking was started on 15 July 2025. The third round of choice submission and locking process was started on 22 July 2025. The process includes registration, document verification, choice filling, seat allotment, and physical reporting to the allotted college

What is JAC Chandigarh Admissions?
Admission to BE, BArch, Integrated BE (Chemical), and MBA at the institutes of Chandigarh are held by JAC which considers the JEE Main marks as well as marks in Class XII or equivalent examinations. Officially known as JAC Chandigarh admissions, this method of admitting students does not involve an entrance examination as it works with All India Ranks provided by JEE Main. They just have to register for the counselling process that is conducted by JAC only. These universities are Dr S S Bhatnagar University Institute of Chemical Engineering & Technology, Panjab University which was formerly the Department of Chemical Engineering & Technology, University Institute of Engineering & Technology, Swami Sarvanand Giri Regional Centre (PUSSGRC) in Hoshiarpur, CCT in sector 26, Chandigarh College of Engineering & Technology (Degree Wing) and Chandigarh College of Architecture in sector 12.
