Registration for the INI CET 2025 July session began on March 10, 2025. Candidates can complete their basic registration online until April 15, 2025. AIIMS has already announced the exam dates for this session.

 

The application process includes two stages: basic registration and final registration. In the first stage, candidates must provide details such as their name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number. After completing basic registration, they need to generate an Exam Unique Code (EUC) online. Generating the EUC is mandatory for proceeding with final registration. Candidates can generate the EUC from April 1 to April 25, 2025. The INI CET 2025 July session exam will take place on May 17, 2025, in a computer-based format.

 

Candidates who complete the application process successfully will receive their admit cards on May 10, 2025. They must download the INI CET admit card from the official AIIMS website. The results for the INI CET July session will be announced online in PDF format on May 24, 2025. To qualify, candidates must meet the minimum cutoff, which is 50 percentile for the general category and 45 percentile for reserved categories.

 

Qualified candidates will be eligible to participate in the INI CET 2025 counselling process. They must register online and submit their choices for seat allocation. The counselling process will include four rounds, including a mock round. AIIMS will release the seat matrix for the July session, with reference to the 1,479 seats allotted in the January session.

What is INI CET?

 

INI CET is conducted by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi. This examination will replace all of the postgraduate (PG) entrance examinations until now and GATE from the upcoming year 2021 for admission to Institutes of National Importance (INI). This exam is a pathway for admission to several programmes such as Master of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), Doctorate of Medicine (DM), and Master of Chirurgiae(MCh). 

 

INI CET scores will be accepted by a total of 18 prestigious institutions — AIIMS, JIPMER Puducherry, PGI Chandigarh for PG,  and turner DGHS notice NIMHANS Bengaluru, Sundar Singh Dav College Pune SCTIMST Trivandrum. Since 2021, these institutes have considered INI CET scores only for PG admissions, instead of conducting their own separate entrance exams. The INI CET exam is held twice a year – in January and July sessions.
