What is INI CET?

INI CET is conducted by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi. This examination will replace all of the postgraduate (PG) entrance examinations until now and GATE from the upcoming year 2021 for admission to Institutes of National Importance (INI). This exam is a pathway for admission to several programmes such as Master of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), Doctorate of Medicine (DM), and Master of Chirurgiae(MCh). 

INI CET scores will be accepted by a total of 18 prestigious institutions — AIIMS, JIPMER Puducherry, PGI Chandigarh for PG,  and turner DGHS notice NIMHANS Bengaluru, Sundar Singh Dav College Pune SCTIMST Trivandrum. Since 2021, these institutes have considered INI CET scores only for PG admissions, instead of conducting their own separate entrance exams. The INI CET exam is held twice a year – in January and July sessions.

INI CET 2025 Admission Process

The admission process for INI CET 2025 consists of multiple steps. Candidates must first complete the basic and final registration. After successful registration, AIIMS issues admit cards, allowing candidates to appear for the exam. The test is conducted online at various exam centres across India. Those who qualify for the exam based on the cut-off score become eligible for admission to postgraduate medical courses.

📆Code Generation and Final Registration (01 Apr '25 - 25 Apr '25)

AIIMS Delhi generates an Examination Unique Code (EUC) for candidates whose basic registration is accepted. This code is essential for proceeding with the final registration. After obtaining the EUC, candidates must fill in additional details, upload necessary documents, and pay the application fee to complete the process.
