IISER 2025 Counselling Process

• Filling up Application form: IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) Merit waitlisted candidates must fill out the application form to become eligible to appear in the IISER Aptitude Test Counseling 2025. The candidates must apply for identification through separate application forms if they apply for ESCF in multiple ways.

• Choice Filling & Locking: At this step, candidates must fill in the choices of colleges and courses per their preference. Seats will be allotted according to the selections made.

• Assigned seats: Based on the availability of seats, merit, and preferences of the candidates, the seats will be allocated.

• Challenge the Seat Allocation Fee Payment: You must pay the seat allocation fee through Internet banking or e-Challan to secure the allocated seats.

• Help Centre: As a part of the procedure, the candidates will be given a time slot for document verification at Help Centres.

• Reporting for Counselling: Students have to report for counselling at the venue, and seats shall be allocated at the venue based on the rank of the available seats in the institute.

Steps for IISER Aptitude Test 2025 Counseling  

The following are the steps to be taken during the IISER Counseling Process 2025:

• Filling Out the Application Form: To be eligible to participate in IISER Counseling 2025, candidates whose names appear on the IISER 2025 merit list must complete the application form.

• IISER's First Round Allotment List: When the IISER Aptitude Test 2025 results are announced, the first seat allotment list for the SCB Channel will be released. The list of seat allotments will include the roll numbers of candidates assigned seats through SCB, KVPY, and JEE routes. To download the IISER offer letter, candidates with roll numbers in the first round allotment list must log in to their application page.

• Payment for IISER Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF): Candidates offered a seat for each channel of admission and category must pay the Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) before the deadline.

After paying the SAF, an applicant is eligible for the Float option, but only if they select "Yes" in the online application form. If the candidate selects "No" as the Float option on the application form, the candidates' first allotment to an IISER will be final. However, if a candidate selects "Yes" as the Float option on the application form and does not receive the IISER of his/her choice in the initial allotment, his/her application will be evaluated in following rounds of assignment.

How to Fill up the IISER Decision-Making Form 2025?  

Candidates whose names appear on the merit list, Counseling list, and colleges have been assigned to them must complete the IISER Decision Making Form 2025 to freeze and accept the seat or freeze and float for the alternative possibilities. Follow the steps below to fill out the IISER Decision-Making form:

Step 1: Log in to the registered account on the official website - iiseradmission.in using your User ID and password.

Step 2: Click the Submit Your Preferences tab that appears on the screen.

Step 3: Submit your preferences.

Step 4: Click the offer letter tab that appears on the screen.

Step 5: Review the offer letter displayed on the screen.

Step 6: Navigate to the decision-making tab and select the "Click here to View Allotted Seat" button.

Step 7: Click the "Generate OTP" button to go to the next page.

Step 8: Fill out the Captcha Code to acquire an OTP (One Time Password).

Step 9: Check the registered mobile number and email address for the OTP.

Step 10: Fill out and validate the OTP.

Step 11: Choose between freezing and accepting the college, accepting and floating for other institutions, or rejecting the selections.

Step 12: If the seat has been approved or frozen, pay the decision-making charge.

Step 13: Check and download the payment receipt, and log out of the account.

Refund Policy for Seat Acceptance Fee  

• If a candidate withdraws his or her claim for a seat before the deadline, there will be no cancellation charge.

• Only online withdrawals are possible via the candidate's application portal. No other forms or methods of withdrawal are accepted.

• If the candidate does not withdraw, he or she will be charged a cancellation fee of Rs. 1000.

• IISER is not liable for any losses incurred if a candidate's application is not withdrawn in the manner described above and by the stipulated date and hour.

• If the candidate fails to join in person at the offered IISER on the joining date specified in the offer letter, a cancellation charge of Rs. 1000/- would be levied.

IISER Allotment List  

Following the release of the allocation list, the institute issues another wave of allotment lists, which include roll numbers for candidates who are assigned a seat in the IISERs or floated in the SCB. The counseling procedure continues until all seats are filled for the courses.

Following that, candidates can repeat the steps of paying the SAF, downloading the offer letter, and confirming their admission.

IISER Exam Center 2025 Details  

Students should be aware of a few details about IISER exam centers. To learn more about IISER exam centers, students can review the following information:

• There are 141 IISER 2025 exam centers around the country.

• Change of Centre: We will not consider requests for alternate IISER exam 2025 test centers.

• Accountability: The candidate must pay for and attend the exam at an examination center. IISER expressly disclaims any duty for any form of harm, loss, etc.

• Students should remember to bring their admit cards and identification to the IAT exam centers, as they are obliged to do for national level exams such as SSC FCI 2025, SSC CGL, and so on.

IISER Exam Centers 2025 Important Instructions  

Students should bear the following instructions in mind. Offenders who violate the guidelines established by the government will face significant consequences.

• Arrive at the IISER exam center at least 60 minutes before the start of the exam.
• Bring the admit card, a valid ID, and any other necessary documents to the test center. Candidates can only take the exam if they have their admission card.
• Please do not bring any electronic devices to the IISER entrance exam 2025 centers. Any candidate found carrying prohibited items will be disqualified.
• It is a serious offense to impersonate someone. Criminal charges will be filed against the culpable parties, and any candidate who attempts to impersonate will be disqualified.
• Candidates must sign two copies of the IISER 2025 Hall Ticket and present them to the invigilator.
• The invigilator and the candidate both need to sign the IISER OMR sheet.
• When the invigilator demands it, the applicant must sign the IISER 2025 attendance sheet.
• The IISER 2025 OMR Sheet requires candidates to enter their name, date of birth, and application number.
• After taking the aptitude test, the candidate must return the question paper and OMR sheet to the invigilator.
• During the IISER 2025 Aptitude Test, candidates are not permitted to exchange commodities.
• If a candidate employs unfair techniques or fails to follow directions during the IISER 2025 Aptitude Test, they will be ejected out of the exam room and their candidature will be withdrawn.
• The candidate can only enter the IISER Exam Hall if they arrive 30 minutes early.
• During the IISER 2025 Aptitude Test, candidates must remain in the examination room.
