IELTS Exam Registration 2025: Steps to Register for IELTS Exam (Online & Offline)

IELTS Registration 2025 (online)

• Paper-Delivered Test: Available on 48 fixed days a year up to four times a month, depending on the market's demand. Any of these dates are acceptable to set for a specific candidate.

• Computer-Delivered Test: It is sometimes available as many as three times a day, seven days a week, to appeal to many registrations.

How to Apply for IELTS Exam 2025 (Online)

• Go to the IELTS Official Website.

• To register, click ‘Register for IELTS’ to create an IDP IELTS login.

• Choose to sit for either the computerised IELTS or the paper-based IELTS.

• Select the Academic or General Training module if planning to sit for any tests.

• Select the preferred test location/city out of the given IELTS test centres in India.

• Once the above steps have been followed, choose a desired date and time from the schedule that has been provided.

• Please complete your personal information and scan a clear photocopy of your colour passport.

• Give details of the registration and scan copies of your passport.

• Select the colleges to which you wish to have your Score Report sent.

• Again, go through the details and pay the INR 17,000.

• The acknowledgement receipt should be printed once the payment has been made.

• Get an acknowledgement of the particular e-mail ID/mobile number entered at the time of registration.

• Regarding paper-based IELTS, the candidates can arrange the interviews through online booking, preferring a certain date and time. If the desired time slot is unavailable, a counter time slot will be assigned accordingly.

IELTS 2025 Exam Registration Offline Mode

Most test takers opt for online IELTS exam registration, but offline methods are also available.

IDP IELTS Registration - In-Person

Method 1

• Online Registration at IDP Branch/Head Office:

• Register online at a cyber café at the IDP office and pay the test fee.

• Get the voucher for your reserved seat (same as the online registration).

• Kindly attach a photocopy of your passport: The first page with your photo, the last page with the ID number, and any observation pages in between (if any).

• I have enclosed a copy of the duly executed Terms & Conditions Form.

• Get an acknowledgement letter in the form of a pop-up message informing you of your test seat availability.

Method 2

• Fill Out the Application Form at IDP Office/Input Node:

• Fill in the application form that is obtained from the IDP office.

• The Terms & Conditions document that comes with the form should be signed.

• Also, enclose a photocopy of your passport, both your first and last pages and observation pages, if any.

• Pay the test fee.

• Ask the IDP staff to complete the form using the online registration system.

• Endeavour to get an acknowledgement slip and a tentative seat reservation.

IELTS IDP Registration by Courier

1. Download or Collect Application Form:

• Acquire the application form from the IDP website or any branch office.

2. Fill Out and Submit:

• Fill in the form and physically sign the document containing the Terms & Conditions.

• It is necessary to stick a copy of the passport's first and last pages and the observation pages, if any.

• Sit for the IELTS test and complete the IELTS application form with the correct exam fees.

• Send the completed form with all necessary documents and the test fee to:

• Applications will be processed upon receiving them. They should remember that the seats reserved for the chosen date are available for your incoming identity.
