The National Testing Agency released the CUET Exam 2024 re-exam provisional answer key on July 23, 2024. Candidates can download CUET UG result 2024 by entering their application number and date of birth on the official NDA website. Students who appear in the examination 2024 can check their results and download them from the official website of NTA. NTA allows candidates to challenge the answer key of CUET 2024 until July 9.


 

The CUET UG 2024 was held from May 15 to May 24, 2024. A total of 13.4 lakh candidates apply for this examination. The eligibility criteria for this examination is that candidates need to qualify for their class 12 from a recognised board.  Each candidate should submit only one application form using one mobile number and email address.


 

Candidates can be admitted to top universities by CUET 2024 the universities include Delhi University, Banaras Hindu University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and Jamia Millia Islamia

What is CUET UG 2024?

 

CUET UG stands for Common University Entrance Test Under Graduate, which is a focalized entrance examination that NTA conducts at the national level to provide admission in various institutes for specific undergraduate programs. CUET was launched in 2022 and occupies a significant position in the entrance examination for Undergraduate courses, which enables the candidates to apply only for UG courses in prominent colleges/schools/universities of India. Administered yearly, the exam is offered in more than 500 cities across India and other countries; using a computer adaptive testing system. It is for this reason that the phases of the CUET exam are set depending on the volume of the candidates registered for the test.

CUET UG Eligibility Criteria

 

As per the largest UG entrance exam, candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria laid down by NTA regarding CUET.
 

  • Educational Qualification: Any applicant seeking a bachelor’s degree at the Central Universities should have completed their class 12 from a recognized board in the science stream or any other relevant stream. Any student above the age of 17 and who is in his or her final year of high school i.e. those who will be sitting for their Class 12 exams are also allowed.
     

  • Age Limit: There is no age limit to sit for the CUET 2024 exam means the students can appear for the exam at any age they want. However, they have to fulfil the age requisites of the University/Institution/Organization to which they are applying.

 

  • Nationality Criteria: The following nationalities shall be met for one to be qualified to sit for the CUET Exam.
     

  • For the candidate, the basic CUET eligibility criterion is that he or she should be an Indian citizen.

 

  • The applicants should be educated in India or should have education recognized in India, or the applicants should be a citizen of any of the following countries or their spouse/dependent children: Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet (before January 1, 1962, arrived in India for immovable employment); Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Vietnam.

CUET UG Application Form 2025

 

It is estimated that the NTA is likely to open the CUET UG 2025 registration portal around February end 2025. Submissions of all the applications will be done online. CUET UG Application fees can be remitted online through credit/debit cards, net banking, and UPI facilities. Aspirants must go through the CUET 2025 eligibility criteria before applying for this exam. Thus, the CUET fees for the year 2025 are categorised based on the candidate type, the number of chosen subjects, and the examination centre. Candidates wishing to take up to three subjects will pay an online fee of Rs.1000 (General/UR), Rs.900 (OBC-NCL/EWS), Rs.800 (SC/ST/PwBD/Third gender) Rs.4500 For candidates outside India. In CUET UG 2024, the highest number of candidates has registered themselves from Uttar Pradesh with 3,43,067 followed by Delhi with 1,44,406 candidates. The specific format of examination of CUET UG Application 2025 subjects will be decided after the opening and closing registration dates have been declared. CUET 2025 examination is planned for May 2025 and it will be a merged exam that will be conducted in 37 states/UTs in India and 24 countries across the globe.

When is the CUET UG 2025 registration going to start?

 

CUET registration for session 2025 is expected to start from the last week of February, by NTA. The procedures for most of the applications will be online based. It will be declared separately as the last date of registration for CUET UG Application 2025. The CUET application form 2025 last date must be followed strictly by the candidates and they have to register before that as the application forms which are submitted after this date will be rejected by the concerned authorities. CUET UG Application form submission makes it mandatory for the candidate to cross-check all information entered on the form.

How to Fill Application Form

 

As the first phase for the registration of CUET UG 2025 has started, candidates have to visit the official website available for exams. nta. ac. in/CUET-UG and then click ‘CUET (UG) - 2025 Click here for registration/Login’ to get to the CUET UG Exam registration link.
 

Step 1: Registration
 

Go and log in to CUET UG  and Click ”New Candidate Registration Here”. into and ensure that they go through all the instructions before proceeding with the exercise. Proceed to provide the general and fond details, phone number, and address to generate user logins.
 

After the registration is complete, the candidate will receive a username and password on the email ID provided at the time of registration and an SMS. CUET UG Exam application form is to be filled by providing information such as the candidate’s name, parent’s name, date of birth, gender, nationality, Identity card details, address, email, and mobile number, and selecting a password which is to strictly adhere to certain standards. Choose a security question and its answer, input a security pin, and check the submitted info by putting the OTP sent to the mobile number.


Step 2: Application Process
 

Under the ‘Personal Details’ part, furnish more information about your belonging to the PwBD category, parents’ qualification and occupation, annual family income, twins, domicile state, if you are a diabetic patient, your current place of residence, mode of preparation and medium of studying in the qualifying education.

Other details like BPL status, Kashmiri Migrant, ward of defence personnel/ex-serviceman, NCC, sports quota, and ward of the university employee must also be provided.
 

Step 3: The model deals with Examination Centre Selection
 

You should also make up to two preferred choices of CUET UG exam centres, which should be the state and city choices.
 

Step 4: University/Programme Selection
 

Select one or more universities and/or programmes from the database shown in the dropdown list, with the option of modifying the choices.
 

Step 5: Take a Test Paper
 

Choose at least three and not more than ten subjects or papers, stating your preference for the medium of the question paper. Use 'NA: As for the ‘Not Applicable’ option, which is only applicable to subjects that were not chosen, percentages have been divided by zero.

 

Step 6: Upload Photograph and Signature

 

  1. That’s all the details that the candidate has to fill in, and the next stages are reserved for uploading a photograph and signing the application.
  2. Upload scanned photographs and signatures as per specified requirements:
  3. Photo in jpg/jpeg; file size no less than 10 KB and no more than 200 KB.
  4. This property includes a signature in one of the JPG/JPEG formats with size 4 KB – 30 KB.
  5. The category of PwBD Certificate shall be in PDF format, and the file size will be between 50 kB to 300 kB.
     

Step 7: Application Fee Payment

 

  1. Make the payment of the CUET 2025 application fee through the available choices such as net banking, UPI, and wallets.
  2. International students choosing more subjects pay a higher fee and they have to pay online; no offline payment is accepted.
  3. After payment confirmation, the candidate gets a message on-screen, and an invoice as a PDF is sent to his or her email ID registered with the portal.

CUET UG 2024 Exam Pattern

 

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the CUET UG exam pattern. The exam will be conducted in a hybrid mode, comprising Section 1A, Section 1B, a General Test, and domain-specific subjects.

 

  • Section 1A: Compulsory, offering 13 languages.
  • Section 1B: Optional, with additional languages like French, Arabic, German, etc.
  • General Test and Domain-Specific Subjects: Each question is worth five marks, with a penalty of one mark for each incorrect answer.

CUET UG Mock Test

 

Preparation for CUET UG Mock Test 2024 includes taking mock tests provided by NTA in an online format. These mock tests help students familiarize themselves with the virtual interface, including the usage of a virtual keyboard and calculator. Practicing with these tests helps in navigating through questions and sections effectively. Additionally, students are encouraged to take mock tests offered by coaching institutes to simulate the actual exam's difficulty level.
