Rungta Group of Institutions, Bhilai Campus, remained focused on the academic start and financial assistance meant for deserving students by providing scholarships. These scholarships reward student achievers and their talents and leadership skills amongst the student fraternity.
The scholarships available are categorised by academic/year achievement, nondescript achievement, need-based, and special category scholarships. Besides, external bodies, organisations, and government agencies provide scholarships, grants and financial aid schemes in collaboration with the Rungta Group of Institutions Bhilai Campus.
These scholarships' main purpose is to change students’ economic situations and help them meet their academic dreams. It aims to promote equal opportunities concerning education to give every student a chance to succeed to the best of their abilities.
Rungta Group Of Institutions Bhilai Campus Scholarship Types
The Dr. Avdhoot Shivanand Scholarships offer undergraduate STEM students a fantastic educational opportunity with three main parameters:
- To offer Financial aid to merit-based students
- Highly sought-after resilient training in mental and behavioural health through the Yoga of Immortals (YOI) program, which has been shown to treat anxiety, insomnia, and depression.
- Mentorship from world-renowned IT multinational corporations' top working professionals.
Kamala Devi Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded based on the candidate’s performance in qualifying or entrance examinations.

Rungta CO-WIN Scholarship (RCS)

Sibling Scholarship
- 15% tuition fee discount for the second sibling.
- 25% tuition fee discount for each successive sibling, applicable when both are pursuing full-time degree courses simultaneously.
Education Loan Tie-ups
- Exclusive tie-up with GrayQuest Education Finance for easy and hassle-free education loans.
- On-the-spot facility for the Bihar Government Credit Card Scheme.
Central and State Government Scholarships
Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) Scheme:
- For meritorious and economically disadvantaged students with a family income below ₹6 lakhs per annum.
- Up to 5% of the total sanctioned seats per course are reserved.
Saksham Scholarship:
- Provided by MHRD and AICTE for differently-abled students in technical degree/diploma programs.
- Annual scholarship of ₹50,000.
Pragati Scholarship:
- For meritorious female students in AICTE-approved institutions.
- 10,000 scholarships awarded annually, with ₹50,000 provided as incidental support.
PG Scholarship:
- For full-time GATE-qualified students enrolled in M.Tech courses at AICTE-approved institutions.
- Monthly stipend of ₹12,400 per student.
Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS):
- For students from Jammu & Kashmir.
- Scholarship includes ₹1,25,000 for academic fees and ₹1,00,000 for maintenance, awarded to 5,000 students annually.
Central Government Scholarship Policy for Minorities:
- For students belonging to minority communities (Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist, Parsi, Jain) who score 55% or higher in the 10+2 examination.
