The admission process of NIFT New Delhi is structured to check the creativity, design skills, and technical skills of the applicants. Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Undergraduate Programs | Candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board. For B.FTech, candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. |

Eligibility Criteria
For Undergraduate Programs (BDes, BFT, BFM):
He/She must have cleared the 10+2 examination or equivalent recognized by the Indian Council of Industrial Training.
Age limit: 23 years (In General category), 28 years (In reserved category).
A valid score in the NIFT entrance exam is a necessity to get through the course.
For Postgraduate Programs (MDes, MFM, MFT):
A University Bachelor's Degree in Design/Technology/Management, or other related field, from a recognized University.
A valid mark was obtained in the NIFT entrance assessment.
Selection Criteria:
As per CAT scores, GAT scores, and a group interview.
A portfolio review is required from everyone who applies for any design program.
