IIMB MBA Admission procedure
At IIM Bangalore, students seeking admission to MBA programs can appear for the CAT/GMAT and subsequently undergo shortlisting for Final selection and leaderboard creation.
There are actually two stages of the selection process depending with the complexity of the given task and the capacity of the worker involved.
Stage 1: CAT Cut-off Qualuation and WAT-PI Shortlist
Finally, candidates need to obtain the minimum CAT cut-off percentile; the figure is declared on the IIMB Official Website. The institute follows a verbose mechanism to select the deserving candidates for the next phases of WAT and PI. At this stage, the CAT score becomes important and is assigned 55% along with the other five parameters of assessment.
Stage 2: Final Selection List
It includes three rounds, the first round is WAT, the second one is the PI round, and the last and final one is the final merit list. The list is based on the following parameters and their respective weights:

Written Ability Test (WAT): 10%

IIM Bangalore Cut-off
On the basis of CAT scores candidates are short-listed for admission in the MBA/PGP program under the condition of having scored the minimum percentile established by the institute. For candidates originating from other countries or those who are willing to take the GMAT, the minimum score accepted is 700.
