PGP/ PGP-HRM Selection Criteria At IIM Indore 

IIM Indore uses a three-stage procedure to select candidates for its MBA program.

CAT Cut-off 2024 For IIM Indore 

All candidates who applied to the PGP program must meet the CAT eligibility standards and have scores higher than the minimum CAT cut-off percentile. The CAT cut-off is indicated in the table below:

Shortlist for Personal Interviews At IIM Indore 

Candidates that meet the criteria in stage 1 will be evaluated for stage 2. Candidates from each category will be shortlisted for PI based on their composite scores. The composite score will be derived using the tenth and twelfth grades, the CAT score, the diversity component, and job experience. The details for calculating the composite score are provided in the table below

(Please keep in mind that the institute has not provided a detailed description of the diversity component, therefore it is unknown how diversity is scored. This could take the shape of gender diversity, academic diversity, or any other type of diversity at the discretion of the IIM Indore Admission Committee.)

IIM Indore's PGP/PGP-HRM Final Selection

The final selection merit list will be generated once the candidates shortlisted in Stage 2 have taken the PI. The Final Composite Score (FCS), which is derived using the 10th, 12th, CAT, and PI scores, as well as the diversity component, will be used to create a category-specific merit list.

IIM Indore's IPM Selection Criteria

Candidates will be chosen for the IPM program based on their performance on the Aptitude Test (AT) and a personal interview.

IIM Indore IPMAT

The aptitude test will consist of three sections: quantitative ability (MCQ style), quantitative ability (short answer question format), and verbal ability (MCQ format). The candidates must obtain a minimum score in each of the three areas. The Admission Committee will establish the minimal cut-off grades for each category.

IIM Indore IPM Personal Interview

The ATS is only calculated for students who meet the minimal sectional cutoff. The minimum and maximum ATS (Aptitude Test Score) for each category are listed in the table below. 

The merit list will be prepared based on the Aptitude Test Score (ATS), and a sufficient number of candidates from each category will be selected for the interview. The ATS will be calculated using the scores obtained in the three sections of the Aptitude Test. 

Final Selection for IPM

Candidates for the IPM program will be selected based on a composite score computed from the Aptitude Test Score (ATS) and the Personal Interview. A final merit list will be prepared based on categories.

IIM Indore's FPM/EFPM Selection Criteria

Candidates are selected for the FPM and EFPM programs based on the following criteria:

IIM Indore FPM/EFPM Standard Tests

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance on standard tests such as the CAT, GRE, GMAT, GATE, JRF, and RAT. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a personal interview.

IIM Indore FPM/EFPM Personal interview

The shortlisted candidates will be required to attend an interview, during which they will be evaluated based on various characteristics determined by the admissions committee. To advance to the next phase, candidates must achieve a minimum performance in all PI parameters.

IIM Indore's EFPMG Selection Criteria

Candidates will be selected based on their academic eligibility, the Research Aptitude Test (RAT), and a personal interview.

The RAT test will be administered by IIM Indore and will assess the candidate's quantitative, verbal, and research abilities.

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the RAT and invited for a personal interview.

The final selection will be based on the candidate's performance in the PI, and successful candidates will be extended an offer to join the program.
