The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), founded in 1963 in New Delhi, is one of India's top business schools, focusing on international commerce and business education. Admission to the MBA (IB) program is through the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). IIFT Delhi Courses and Programs
The MBA in International Business (MBA-IB) is the flagship program at IIFT Delhi, running successfully since 1963. Known for its popularity and competitiveness, this program admits less than 1% of applicants.
In the academic year 2023-24, IIFT launched a new program, the MBA in Business Analytics (MBA-BA). This program focuses on equipping students with tools and techniques to analyze and use data for business decision-making.
Both programs select students through the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). For the first time, IIFT will accept CAT scores for admissions. Though the cutoff scores are not officially announced, they are expected to be around the 97th percentile.
Shortlisted candidates for both programs go through evaluations, including group discussions, extempore speaking, writing assessments, and personal interviews.

The MBA-IB program typically admits 230 students, while the MBA-BA program has 60 seats, expected to increase to 100 for the 2024-26 batch. Students in these programs come from diverse backgrounds such as engineering, commerce, arts, science, law, and medicine. Around 30% of the batch are women, and the average work experience of students is 2 years.
