IFIM School of Management Scholarship Details
The scopes of scholarships which are available at IFIM School of Management include the scholarship for economically backwards students and the scholarship for excellent achievers. Here’s a summary of the available scholarships:
The IIT Physics faculty will design and initiate a Scholarship for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) programme during the Indo-US Science and Innovation Summit in December 2017. This scholarship does pay for all the course fees and also the hostel fees (only the registration fees of the course are charged). The monthly salary of each member of the family should be lower than INR 4183 ideally, the family income should be below INR 5 lakh annually.
IFIM selection process should be successful, for securing the necessary EWS scholarship scores, recommended by the ASP panel & Director.
Merit Scholarship
Specific scholarships are based on merit and they entail either a half or a quarter tuition fee according to performance. To qualify for this scholarship:
- Select process IFIM has to be gone through by the candidate.
- Candidate should have been meeting such or equivalent requirements as spelt out by the institute for those wishing to be considered for the merit scholarship.
- These are scholarships intended for funding students and awarding on merit based on students’ standards at IFIM School of Management.
- If business organisation learners seek some exemption from the cost of fees, then they are able to apply for the scholarship at IFIM Business School.
Scholarships are available to talented and worthy learners at IFIM Business School and they include scholarships of 25 per cent – 100 per cent tuition fee concession. However, please note that scholarship offers do not include the dual degree program. Below are the details of the scholarship categories:

Eligibility
- An excellent academic grade record and a CAT percentile score of 90 and above or a GMAT score of 750 and above.
- Minimum of Upper Second Class or equivalent in the first degree, conferring in the first attempt.
- The minimum qualifying percentage of marks in 10th and 12th standard must have passed both the exams in the first attempt.
- Must have applied for admission to IFIM Business School in the same year as the students to whom the job offer was made.
Academic Excellence
- Scholarship Amount: 50% Tuition Fee Waiver
- Number of Scholarships: 5
Eligibility:
- Minimum 85 percentile in CAT or minimum 700 in GMAT.
- A First class or its equivalent as the corresponding undergraduate degree made on the first attempt.
- The percentage of 10th and 12th standards should be at least 75% aggregate, and both these exams should be cleared in the first attempt.
- Have to be a bonafide student of IFIM Business School with valid admission details.
Academic Scholar
- Scholarship Amount: 25% Tuition Fee Waiver
- Number of Scholarships: 10
Eligibility:
- The candidate must have scored 75 % and above in CAT or 650 marks and above in GMAT.
- The completed undergraduate degree of First Class or equivalent, obtained in the first attempt only.
- A minimum of 75% of the total percentage in the 10th and 12th standards also passed in the first attempt.
- Should have sent an application to IFIM Business School and should have received the admission acknowledgement.
Sports Scholarship
- Scholarship Amount: 25% Tuition Fee Waiver
- Number of Scholarships: 10
Eligibility:
- Should have played at least at the National level or International level in the sport specified by IOC or cricket with a participation timeline within 2 years of applying for the service.
- Clearing sectional tests of CAT with 65 percentile and above, and GMAT with 650 and above.
- Bachelor's degree pass of first class or equivalent in the relevant undergraduate degree, without attempt.
- Minimum 60% in sum total in X and XII standards, also passed in the first attempt selected only.
- Must have completed an application to IFIM Business School and should have been offered an official acceptance.
Application Process
It may be noted that to avail of these scholarships, the candidates have to fill in the application in the prescribed format along with all the necessary documents to prove his / her identity before the personal interview.
After the interview, the following criteria will be considered by the Scholarship Committee for the preparation of the merit list. Interview performance, Academic & Professional qualification etc. The decision that the committee will arrive at will be final on such issues.
