Goa Institute of Management (GIM) Scholarship 2025

Goa Institute of Management (GIM) promotes diversity, accessibility, and quality by offering scholarships to meritorious students. These scholarships are awarded to deserving candidates who meet all the specified terms and conditions.

GIM - MBBS Scholarship (GMS)

• The GIM-MBBS Scholarship is for PGDM Healthcare Management candidates who hold an MBBS degree.

• GIM offers 5 scholarships, each valued at INR 4 lakhs.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must be admitted to the PGDM in Healthcare Management (PGDM-HCM) course, those in PGDM, PGDM (BDA), or PGDM (BIFS) are not eligible.

• Candidates should have earned their MBBS degree from a recognized university or college with a high score or class.

• The scholarship is disbursed in two instalments: 50% in the first year and the remaining 50% in the second year, contingent on maintaining a CGPA of 5.0 or above and satisfactory conduct.

• If the recipient's academic performance or conduct does not meet the management's expectations, the second instalment may be withheld.

• Recipients of the GIM-MBBS Scholarship are not eligible for the Tuition Fee Waiver scheme.

• GIM reserves the right to modify the scholarship offering and implementation, with the Director's decision being final.

ACCESS Scheme

• The Academic Competence and Excellence Scholarship Scheme (ACCESS) is awarded to exceptional candidates identified during the Achiever’s round of the selection process.

• GIM offers scholarships of INR 4 lakhs each as follows:

  • 40 scholarships for the PGDM programme.

  • 20 scholarships for the PGDM Big Data Analytics programme.

  • 5 scholarships for PGDM Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance candidates who hold CA, CS, AICWA, or CFA qualifications.

Terms and Conditions for scholarship

• By applying, students accept all terms and conditions of the scholarship.

• GIM provides INR 4 lakhs to forty students.

• The awardees are selected from those who make a prescribed advance payment INR 1 lakh of this payment will be treated as a deposit for participating in the scheme.

• The deposit of INR 1 lakh will be forfeited if the candidate does not join or discontinue their studies after accepting the scholarship.

• Both the deposit and the scholarship amount will be adjusted against the fee payable or as determined by the Institute.

• The scholarship is disbursed in two instalments: 50% in the first year and 50% in the second year, contingent on maintaining a CGPA of 5.6 or above and satisfactory conduct.

• If academic performance or conduct does not meet management expectations, the second instalment may be withheld.

• ACCESS winners are not eligible for the Tuition Fee Waiver scheme.

• GIM reserves the right to modify the scholarship offering and implementation, with the Director’s decision being final.

Tuition Fee Waiver 

Students with a family income of less than INR 8 lakhs per year are eligible for the Tuition Fee Waiver. This waiver may be granted to up to 5% of the admitted students, based on an assessment of financial need, including total family income and economic conditions. Awardees will receive a full waiver of the tuition fees.
