Admissions at East West Institute of Technology (EWIT) are conducted based on both merit and management quotas. The institution accepts scores from national and state-level entrance examinations. For PhD programs, applicants are required to clear the VTU entrance test.

Application Process

Offline Mode:

1. Download the application form from the EWIT Official Website.
2. Pay an application fee of INR 500 for applicants residing in India or $15 for those living abroad via Demand Draft, Bank Draft, or Cheque.
3. Submit the filled application form along with the payment receipt through post to the institute's address.
4. Once received, the institute will send a brochure to the applicant’s mailing address.

Online Mode:

1. Visit the EWIT Official Website and access the online application form.
2. Fill in the required details and upload proof of payment.
3. Submit the form and retain a printout for future reference.

EWIT’s dedicated training and placement cell ensures students are well-prepared for internships and job opportunities. Final-year students undergo internships with top corporations and research institutions. In 2022, 26 companies participated in recruitment drives, hiring students from various disciplines.

Top recruiters include TATA, Wipro, HP, Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, HCL, JUSPAY, Oracle, and Mercedes Benz.

Facilities and Infrastructure

EWIT provides various amenities to support academic and extracurricular activities:

• Library: Separate libraries for UG and PG students, along with departmental libraries. The main library holds over 44,150 books and subscribes VTU consortium e-journals with national and international journals.

• Transportation: Six dedicated bus routes are available for day scholars. Details about routes and timings are provided on the EWIT Official Website.

• Hostels: Separate hostels for boys and girls, with wardens ensuring smooth operations. There are two boys' hostels and one for girls.

• Sports Facilities: Indoor and outdoor sports facilities include basketball, volleyball, table tennis, chess, and more.

• Canteen: The multi-cuisine canteen offers a variety of hygienic North and South Indian dishes.

• Other Amenities: Smart classrooms, seminar halls, an auditorium, parking spaces, a bank, an ATM, snack outlets, and photocopy centres are available.

About IQAC at EWIT

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at East West Institute of Technology (EWIT) was established in March 2016 with the aim of enhancing and ensuring the quality of academic and administrative processes within the institution. Since its inception, the IQAC has played a key role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement by developing a systematic approach to quality enhancement across various functions of the Institute.

The primary objective of the IQAC is to promote quality improvement in all areas of the institution's operations, including academics, administration, and student activities. The cell works in close collaboration with major committees and bodies within the institute to support the development and implementation of key policies and procedures. This includes conducting academic audits, preparing the Annual Report, and engaging with national quality assessment processes such as the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), National Board of Accreditation (NBA), and institutional affiliation processes.

In addition to these activities, the IQAC is responsible for documenting and reporting various institutional activities, aligning them with higher education requirements. Regular participation in quality audits ensures that the institute maintains high standards and continues to meet national and international benchmarks.
