November 29, 2024: East West Institute of Technology (EWIT) has announced an extension for applications to the BE/B.Tech Hons degree program for the 2024-25 academic year. The new deadline for registration is November 30, 2024. Prospective students can complete their registration online.

Admissions at East West Institute of Technology (EWIT) are conducted based on both merit and management quotas. The institution accepts scores from national and state-level entrance examinations. For PhD programs, applicants are required to clear the VTU entrance test.

Application Process

 

Offline Mode:

 

  1. Download the application form from the EWIT Official Website.
  2. Pay an application fee of INR 500 for applicants residing in India or $15 for those living abroad via Demand Draft, Bank Draft, or Cheque.
  3. Submit the filled application form along with the payment receipt through post to the institute's address.
  4. Once received, the institute will send a brochure to the applicant’s mailing address.

  • Library: Separate libraries for UG and PG students, along with departmental libraries. The main library holds over 44,150 books and subscribes VTU consortium e-journals with national and international journals.

About IQAC at EWIT

 

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at East West Institute of Technology (EWIT) was established in March 2016 with the aim of enhancing and ensuring the quality of academic and administrative processes within the institution. Since its inception, the IQAC has played a key role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement by developing a systematic approach to quality enhancement across various functions of the Institute.

 

The primary objective of the IQAC is to promote quality improvement in all areas of the institution's operations, including academics, administration, and student activities. The cell works in close collaboration with major committees and bodies within the institute to support the development and implementation of key policies and procedures. This includes conducting academic audits, preparing the Annual Report, and engaging with national quality assessment processes such as the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), National Board of Accreditation (NBA), and institutional affiliation processes.
