The CEED 2025 conducted by IIT Bombay is a national-level examination for M. Des and Ph. D programs. The examination will be held on January 19, 2025, part A is conducted a Computer Based and Part B is offline mode. The mean and standard deviation for Part-A scores are 41.90 and 16.72, respectively.
The common eligibility criteria for this examination is that candidates must have completed a degree diploma and postgraduate program from a recognised Institute. There is no age limit for this examination. Some top institutes also accept CEED examinations such as IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Guwahati, IISC Bangalore, IIT Kanpur and many more.

What is the CEED exam?
CEED is a national-level test conducted by IIT Bombay for admission to the Masters in Design (M. Des) as well as the Doctorate of Philosophy in Design (Ph. D.) courses in various institutes, every year. These are IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee, and IIITDM Jabalpur for M. Des and several IITs and design schools for Ph. D. On getting the merit rank in CEED 2025, a candidate has to apply separately to the institute he/she has got a rank in. Institutes will then release the shortlist for the candidates according to their CEED 2025 rank, and some may have more steps before coming up with the final admission list.
CEED 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Concerning this, candidates are encouraged to note that the conditions under which one can be admitted to a participating institute are different from those that define one’s admittance to sit for the CEED examination. Hence, according to their preferred institute, candidates are advised to go through the prospects of admission for the CEED 2025 entrance exam.
