The Bihar Private Technical & Professional Institutions Association (BPTPIA) Common Entrance Test (CET) 2025 is an important exam for engineering and technology students in Bihar. This exam on July 11th allows students to apply for B.Tech and diploma (polytechnic) courses at top private technical colleges in the state.
To take the BPTPIA CET 2025, students must have finished their 12th grade (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. This ensures that all students understand the basic subjects needed for engineering and technology courses.

BPTPIA CET 2025 Exam Dates
Candidates who are preparing for the BPTPIA CET in 2025 can check the dates related to the examination using the table given below. However, polytechnic and B.Tech admission tests could be conducted on the same day. The entrance examination for Undergraduate Engineering Admission will be conducted from 2 pm to 4 pm, and the entrance to the polytechnic program will be held from 11 am to 1 pm.

1. Eligibility for no fee 4-year Undergraduate Engineering and Technology Program
a. First-Year Admission:
10 + 2 examinations from a recognised board with required subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Biotechnology, and a Technical Vocation)
The minimum passing percentage in the qualifying examination is 45% (40% for reserved category candidates).
Lateral Entry Admission in 2nd Year:
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects, 45% marks in a diploma in the engineering or technology course from a state board of technical education or any AICTE-approved institution or from a recognised University or Be/BTech. A minimum of 45% in mathematics is required for any degree stream. Minimum percentage for reserved category- 40%
Candidates with a B.Sc. degree must annul the second-year examination and the Engineering Mechanics and Engineering Graphics or Engineering Drawing exam.
2. Eligibility for 3-year UG Engineering and Technology Diploma Program
a. First-Year Admission:
Job Aspirants have to complete Matriculation or 10th class or equivalent Minimum marks regarded as 35%).
b) Lateral Entry Admission in Second Year:
ITI (NCTVT/ SCVT) or 10+2 pass in an overall academic stream. The minimum eligible percentage is 60%.
Age Criteria:
The candidates must not be of age, and under no circumstances can an aged bar be of more or less than no restriction be imposed on the candidates appearing for the BPTPIA CET 2025.
