AP ICET 2025 Syllabus
APSCHE has provided the syllabus for AP ICET 2020 and covers the essential sections of Analytical Ability, Mathematical Ability, and Communication Ability. As the question paper is the same for MBA and MCA courses, the syllabus remains the same. To score a high percentage, candidates aspiring to succeed in AP ICET 2025 must specialise in topics associated with the syllabus. As per the AP ICET 2025 exam pattern, the AP ICET 2025 will be conducted for 150 minutes on May 06 and May 07, 2025. Candidates wanting to appear for the exam must know the exam pattern and complete the syllabus.
Section-A: Analytical Ability
Below are the details of the Analytical Ability

Data Sufficiency | Questions based on data is in the form of two statements labelled as (i) and (ii ) |
Problem-Solving | Sequences and Series (Analogies of numbers and alphabet, completion of blank spaces following the pattern in a:b::c:d relationship, missing number in a sequence or a series) Data Analysis (Data will be given in a table, Graph, Bar diagram, Pie Chart, Venn Diagram or Passage and one needs to analyse the questions about the data) Coding and Decoding Problems (A code pattern of the English Alphabet will be given. A given word or a group of letters are to be coded or decoded based on a given code or codes. Date, Time & Arrangement Problems (Calendar problems, clock problems, blood relationships, arrivals, departures and schedules, seating arrangements, symbol and notation interpretation. |
Section-B: Mathematical Ability

Arithmetical Ability | Laws of Indices, ratio and proportion, surds, numbers and divisibility, LCM, GCD, rational numbers, ordering, percentages, profit and loss, partnership, pipes and cisterns, time, distance and work problems, areas and volumes, mensuration, modular arithmetic |
Algebraical and Geometrical Ability | Statements, truth tables, implication converse and inverse, tautologies-sets, relations & functions, applications – equation of a line in different forms. Trigonometry - Trigonometric ratios, Trigonometric ratios of standard angles (0°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 90°, 180°): Trigonometric identities: sample problems on heights and distances, polynomials, remainder theorem & consequences, linear equations & expressions, progressions, binomial theorem, matrices, notion of a limit and derivative, plane geometry - lines, triangles, quadrilaterals, circles, coordinate geometry-distance between points. |
Statistical Ability | Frequency distributions, mean, median, mode, standard deviation, correlation, probability |
Section-C: Communication Ability

Part 2 | Business and computer terminology (Identification of basic terminology and concepts in computer and business contexts (letters, reports, memoranda, agenda, minutes, etc) |

AP ICET 2025 Preparation Tips
Regular Practice: By solving the sample papers and previous years' papers of NID, you can approximate the exam pattern and prepare yourself for time management. This is useful in something other than practice tests, it likewise encourages you to share with you your weaker and stronger points.
Time Management: As the AP ICET exam is time-bound, you should learn to solve them similarly by ranking the questions and allocating the time over the exam duration.
Get Help: Whenever you struggle to understand a particular idea, never be afraid to seek help from your teachers, online materials, and mentors. Otherwise, you can join them for proper guidance, coaching, and motivational pushes. Rest, Eat well, and work out regularly.
