If all this also ends, the obvious winner 2nd phase counts the age of the two skaters to crown the oldest of two.
Normalisation of Scores
AP ICET 2025 is held in 2 sessions for candidates meeting the same eligibility criteria and are as per the same syllabus and pattern.
Candidates should only appear in one session, and there may be variations in the question papers, leading to differences in the levels of perceived difficulty.
A normalisation process is required to get a distribution range of ranks for all the candidates across different sessions and to fairly address this variation in ranks.
Normalisation ensures that marks from the more accessible session may be slightly decreased, and those from the more brutal session could be kissed up a bit based on the average performance in each session.
Normalisation is the process of rationalising the performance of the candidates across sessions to ensure that they are not disadvantaged due to the difficulty level of their session and also putting all on a fair pedestal.
